Tootie was born November 10, 1937 at Exline, Iowa the daughter of Ted and Melinda(Cline)Abbott. She married Frances Dean Glascock on September 7, 1955 at Centerville. She grew up in Exline and attended the Exline schools and graduated from Cincinnati High School. Tootie was a homemaker who loved cooking and canning different types of foods, and she loved to garden with Dean. She was an avid sports fan and attended all of her grandkids' sporting events.
Tootie is survived by a daughter Terri(Phillip)Oden of Exline, Iowa; two grandchildren, Jesse Oden and his special friend Stacy Oehler of Cincinnati, Iowa, and Melinda(Dale)West of Exline, Iowa; four great grandchildren, Maggie, Ruger, Ross and Trystan; two sisters, Joyce(Ed)Boone of Washington, Iowa, and Margaret(Tyke)Butler of Centerville. Tootie was preceded in death by her husband Frances Dean Glascock.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday morning, February 13, 2007 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, Centerville with Pastor Kay Singley afficiating. Visitation will be from, 10 am until service time Tuesday morning. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the SAC 1st Responders and may be left at the funeral home.
