Last Wednesday afternoon 2 o'clock Miss Marie Gebers and Dick Abelbeck were united in marriage at the home of the bride's brother, Fred Gebers, west of town. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Miller of Athol. About 25 guests were present and helped make the event a merry and memorable affair.

The bride is a sister of our townsman Fred Gebers and is well qualified to take up the duties of the new house hold.

The groom is one of the best known young men of Thayer county (sic), Nebraska and has a home prepared for his bride at Byron, Nebraska, where they will make their future home. They were the recipients of many useful and valuable presents. The Sentinel joins with their many friends in wishing them the best this life affords.
