Richard L. Aaron, 74, died Sunday morning, Feb. 7, 2010 at Good Samaritan Luther Manor in Sioux Falls.

Richard LeRoy Aaron was born on May 30, 1935 in Rochester, MN.

He moved to South Dakota as a child and graduated from Lennox High School in 1953. He was employed as a grocery clerk and later as department manager in grocery stores, being transferred in South Dakota, Minnesota, North Dakota and California. After his retirement he moved back to Lennox.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Hill, on May 11, 2005 and his brother, Harold Aaron, on Jan. 5, 2007.

Survivors include his sister, Annetta Fodness, of Lennox; his sister-in-law, Delores Aaron of Sioux Falls; his nieces and nephews including a special niece, Loyanne (Verlyn) Heibult, of rural Parker.

Respecting Richard's wishes, there will be a private burial at the Lennox Cemetery with no other services.
Rev. Sarah Hagena will officiate at the committal service.
