Elizabeth L. "Betty" Hachey, 80, of Kenosha, formerly of Superior, died Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, at Kenosha Hospital and Medical Center.

Born on Jan. 17, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Claire (Hussy) Aardappel. In 1946 she married Samuel Hachey in Superior. He preceded her in death in 1971.

She was retired from the Sears Roebuck Company in Superior. In March of 1998, after living most of her life in Superior, she moved to Kenosha.

Survivors include two sons, Samuel (Corlis) Hachey of Kenosha, and Roger (Beverly) Dahlgren of Surprise, Ariz.; two daughters, Dianne Klemm of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Ellie (Michael) Melton of Minneapolis; four sisters, Elayne Vergamini of Superior, Joanne Moore of Denver, Colo., Edith Spangler of Rice Lake, and Kathleen Minook of Rice Lake; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Piasecki-Althaus-Thulin Funeral Home, 3720 - 39th Avenue in Kenosha. Interment will be private. Visitation in the funeral home will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
