Funeral services for Murdus H. Hubbard, 68, of 204 Robey, Fritch, are scheduled at 2 p.m. today from First Southern Baptist Church of Fritch. The Rev. P.M. Middaugh, pastor of Fritch Assembly of God Church and the Rev. C.J. Tate, pastor, will officiate.

Burial in Westlawn Memorial Park will be directed by Minton Mortuary.

Hubbard was a retired Phillips Petroleum Co. employee. He died Sunday in North Plains Hospital.

Surviving are his wife, Thelma Ann; son, M.H. Hubbard, Jr., of Borger; stepson, Charles Taylor of Blythesville, Ark., stepdaughter, Mrs. A.W. Worthey of Fritch; brother, John T. and sister, Mrs. Ruth Spears, both of Greenville; and six grandchildren.

BORGER - Funeral services for Murdus H. Hubbard, 68, of Fritch, were to be at 2 p.m. today in the Southern Baptist Church of Borger.

The Rev. P.M. Middaugh, pastor of Fritch Assembly of God Church was to officiate, assisted by the Rev. C.K. Cate, pastor. Burial was to be in the Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton Mortuary.

Mr. Hubbard died Sunday morning in North Plains Hospital.

He was born at Bokchita, Okla., and had lived in the Fritch area for 24 years. He was a retired employe of Phillips Petroleum Co.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Ann; a son, Murdus H. Hubbard, Jr., of Borger; a stepson, Charles Taylor with the Air Force at Blythesville, Ark., a stepdaughter, Mrs. A.W. Worthey of Fritch; a brother, John T. of Greenville; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Spears of Greenville; and six grandchildren.
