She was first married to Grover Claron Edwards, son of Lemon Gray Edwards and Fannie "Blessing" Edwards on 29 October 1907 in Nash County, NC. Grover is buried in Forest Hill. She married William Wilson Edwards, son of Levi Edwards and Roxy Lamm on 11 April 1915.
