She married Vernon LeRoy Abbott, November 1, 1957, at Christian Parsonage, Plattsmouth, Nebraska.
She is survived by her husband Vernon Abbott, of Weeping Water, NE, sons Rickey L. (Christine Thomassen) Abbott, of Weeping Water, NE, Randy Abbott, of Manley, Ne, Roger (Jodi) Abbott, of Louisville, NE, daughter Rhonda (Bruce) Zierott, of Nehawka, NE, 13 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, brother Raymond (Linda) Sluyter, of Omaha, NE.
She was preceded in death by her father Charles Sluyter, mother Martha Anson Sluyter, sisters Phyllis Miller, Shirley Meyer, brother Kenneth Sluyter.
She was the type of person who believed that no one should go hungry. She always cooked extra food and fed anyone who crossed through her front door. She was an angel on earth and is deeply missed.
