"Former Resident Dies At Lacey"
Zelma Agnes Mopps who had lived in Wallowa and Enterprise for many years passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 1974 at her home at Lacy, Wash.
Memorial services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Bollman Chapel with Rev. Edward J. Morrison officiating and with Jeannette Powers as organist. Interment followed in the Lostine Cemetery.
Mr. Mopps was the daughter of William and Hulda Kiel and was born March 14, 1909 at Anatone, Wash. On Dec. 12, 1939 she was married to Walter Mopps at Parma, Ida. They had lived in Wallowa County until 1955.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Moops, Lacey, Wash.; a daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Suzanne) Ruff, Aberdeen, Idaho; a brother, Mike Beidler of Wallowa; and a sister, Ione Adams, Pendleton.
