JETMORE - May Law, 88, died Jan. 15 at Hodgeman County Health Center in Jetmore. She was born Sept. 13, 1912, at Ness City, the daughter of Lon E. and Maggie Reynolds Abel. She married Orval Ray Law Jr. July 9, 1955. He died Jan. 30, 1992. A lifetime resident of Ness and Hodgeman counties, she was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons,
Raymond Law of Garfield and Tommy Jones of Colbert, Ga.; one daughter, Sally Krehbiel of Mesa, Ariz.; and one sister, Ruth Ross of Reasnor, Iowa. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Alfred Abel, Albert Abel, Ray Abel, Ralph Abel and Glenn Abel; and two sisters, Irene and Ethel. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Fairmount Cemetery in Jetmore with the Rev. Mitch Reece officiating. Friends may call until 8 tonight and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Beckwith Funeral Home in Jetmore. Memorials are suggested to Hodgeman County Health Center or Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, both of Jetmore, in care of the funeral home.
