Jessie Mabel Austin
Casper - Services for Jessie Mabel Austin, 91, of Casper, will be conducted at the gravesite in Highland Cemetery Friday at 1 p.m. by Rev. August Keoune of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Mrs. Austin died Dec. 30, 1989, at Wyoming Medical Center after a long illness. She was born Jan. 17, 1898, at Four Corners, Wyo., the daughter of Albert and Mabel Ackley. She lived at Four Corners until moving to Oregon where she married Emery Austin on March 28, 1918, at Clatskine, Ore.
She made her home in Oregon until 1945 when she returned to Wyoming and lived at Columbine. In 1951 Mrs. Austin moved to Las Vegas, Nev., and lived there until moving to Casper in 1977.
Mrs. Austin worked many years as a domestic, taking care of children and other people's homes.
Survivors include two sisters, Iris Thompson of Winter, Calif., and Billie DelReal of Weldon, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
The Bustard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
