Gerald B. Abbott Services Wednesday
Funeral services for Gerald B. Abbott, 49, of Posen, Ill., will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Chapel with Rev. Douglas Vernon, First United Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Natrona Memorial Gardens.
Abbott died Sunday morning in Posen. He was born Dec. 4, 1920 in Sumner, Neb., and moved to Illinois in 1945, where he worked for the Clark Oil Refinery.
He was a member of the Nebraska National Guard from 1941 to 1945.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn, two sons and three daughters, all of Posen; four brothers, Harry Hildarth, Lincoln, Neb., Floyd Hildarth, Sterling, Colo., Harvey Winters, Stockton, Calif., and Joe E. Winters, Midwest; and three sisters, Mrs. Edna Downing and Mrs. Virginia Guzman, both of Stockton, Calif. and Mrs. Evelyn Lopez, Oceanside, Calif.
