Margaret Anderson, 79, died in a Forsyth hospital following a lingering illness.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Melville, Mont., Dec. 25, 1883, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pierria Sansaver. After spending her youth in Mellville, she was married to Alec Anderson in Corando.
The couple farmed in the Boyd area for some years then moved to Treasure County in 1916, where they also farmed until retirement.
Mrs. Anderson, a member of the Presbyterian Church in Hysham, was preceded in death by her husband in May of 1954.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. William Anderson of Kalispell and Mrs. Eva Winkler of Lewistown.
Services at Community Presbyterian Church at Hysham. Interment in Hysham Cemetery.
