WEST LEBANON--Mrs. Audrey Abbot, 42, Williamsport, a former Muncie resident, died Friday night in a head-on collision with another car on U.S. 41 near here. Critically injured in the crash was her son, Stevie, who is confined to a Danville hospital.
Mrs. Abbot was born in Oneida, Tenn., and resided in Muncie 14 years prior to moving to West Lebanon last year. She belonged to the Southern United Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, J.B. Abbot; two daughters, two other sons at home, one brother, James Yancy, and six grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Meeks Mortuary from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Final rites will be Tuesday at Pine Hill Baptist Church, Oneida, Tenn.
