Catherine was a 1955 graduate of King George High School and met again for the first time after 35 years, her present husband, Richard A. Acey. Both of them had gone to the same school, but had never dated each other or barely knew each other. They just remembered that they had been in the same graduating class. They married on December 7, 1990. She gave up her life as she knew it in Virginia and moved to Santa Barbara, CA with Richard and there they lived until 1993. Richard had promised Catherine that when he retired he would bring her back to her home state of Virginia. He held true to his promise and they moved to Culpeper in April of 1993.
Besides her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her daughter and first born,
Constance Louise Hall ; one great grandson, Marley of King George, VA; seven brothers; three sisters; and her former husband, Ralph V. Hall.
