OBITUARY:
Walter A. Stone. Born Sept 16, 1913, Sioux City, IA. Died April 16, 1978, Albuquerque, New Mexico while visiting his son. Married Ethel Joyce Galloway on June 4, 1939. For many years he lived in and around the Whitney, Nebraska area. In 1945 he moved to Casper, WY where he worked in maintenance for the Standard Oil Company. Besides his wife, Joyce, he is survived by two sons, Walter Lee Stone of Rapid City, SD and Terry L. Stone of Albuquerque, NM; three brothers: Fred Stone of Everett, WA; William Stone of Seattle, WA; and Howard Stone of Perryton, TX. He is also survived by three grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Casper, Wyoming.
