Hingham Man Dead Before Train Ran Over Him
Havre, Nov. 15 - Sheriff's officers said Henry Aafedt, 25, of Hingham, was injured fatally in an automobile accident, dropped dead on the railroad tracks from loss of blood, and his body was run over by a train. Sheriff Timmons said Aafedt was first critically injured when his car went off the highway last night near Pacific Junction, four miles west of Havre on the Great Northern's main line. Aafedt was apparently trying to get to the section house for help when he collapsed on the tracks, weak from the loss of blood. Sheriff Timmons said he believed Aafedt died before the train, eastbound mail No. 28, arrived.
Identification was made through a hunting license and a driver's license found along the right-of-way.
