Sylvester Abernathy died suddenly Thursday night.
The body is at Mrs. A.J. Morton and Son Funeral Home where friends may visit with the family tonight from 8-9. Funeral services will be Sunday at 1:00 pm from Fountain Creek Baptist Church, Culleoka.
Burial in Camp Ground Cemetery.
Survivors: wife Mrs. Amanda Hunt Abernathy; six sons: Columbus S, Robert, Fulton, Reese, Sammy and Eddie Abernathy; eight daughters: Mrs. Ethel Armstrong; Mrs. Mary McGill, Mrs. Daisy Mathers, Misses Betty and Sandra Abernathy, Mrs. Carolyn Booker, Misses Colleen and Edith Abernathy; 20 grandchildren; 2 uncles and two aunts.
