LEWISTOWN - Sherren Kay (Nesing) Wauer, 75, who with her husband farmed and ranched in Hobson until retiring in 2001, died of natural causes Tuesday at a Lewistown care facility.

A gathering of friends is noon Friday at the Hobson Senior Center. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Creel Funeral Home, and private burial will be in Philbrook Cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Debra D. Newton, of Lewistown; stepbrothers: Ole Nesing, of Great Falls, and Bill Voth, of Bozeman; stepsisters: Delores Roy, of Vancouver, WA, and Mable Westcott, of Ramona, CA; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin; and a son, Russell.
