Loyd Wayne Aaron was born February 21, 1947 in Tyler, Texas to David and Opal (Sanders) Aaron.
His early working years were spent designing and fabricating machinery for oil drilling rigs around the world. He taught foreign nationals how to use and maintain the specialized equipment. He traveled extensively, with Malaysia being his favorite country. In South Dakota, Loyd worked for Harlan Jacobsen for 10 years. Loyd was a very special and caring man.
He married Jody Shaffer on May 4, 1999 in Flandreau, SD.
Survivors include his wife, Jody, of Sioux Falls; two daughters, Katie Aaron, age 11 and Beatrice Aaron, age 3, both of Sioux Falls; his sister, Jeanette (Harry) Engberg of Sioux Falls; and one brother, David Aaron, Jr. of Huntsville, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family of Loyd Aaron thanks you for your support and presence today. An invitation is extended to join them at the funeral home for refreshments and fellowship during the visitation time.
