Mrs. Aaberg was born November 20,1917, near Wyndmere, N.D., one of 10 children of Tollef and Betsy (Tidemanson) Juven. She was baptized and confirmed at the Viking Lutheran Church. She grew up on a farm near Wyndmere and attended rural schools, later working in Wyndmere while completing her elementary education. She then entered nursing training and graduated from St. Lukes School of Nursing, Fergus Falls, on March 6, 1918. On November 20, 1917, she married Charles T. Aaberg at the Gol Aal Lutheran Church near Wyndmere. The couple made their home near Rothsay until 1948, when they moved to Fergus Falls. She was a volunteer at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Rothsay.
After moving to Fergus Falls, she resumed her nursing career for about 10 years, and she was an active member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She and her husband moved to the Broen Home in the fall of 1983.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, at Olson Funeral Home and will resume one hour prior to the service at the church.
