Simon Andrew AARON was born November 20, 1869 in Kervange, Illinois and died at his home five miles west of Forgan December 22, 1931, being 62 years, 1 month and 2 days of age, after an illness of several months.
When a small boy he moved to Kentucky and lived there, and in Illinois until 1884 when he moved to Kansas. There he grew to manhood and resided a number of years. In 1890 he was married to Miss Nettie STEWART of Andover, Kansas, who was laid to rest in 1912.
Three children were born to this union: William AARON of Forgan; John AARON of Ulysses, Kansas and Mrs. Allie HITCHCOCK of Forgan, all of whom were present at his last illness.
He has three brothers: Joe AARON of Goddard, Kansas; Charles AARON of Mutual and William AARON of Garden Plains. All were present. He also has one sister, Miss Ida AARON of Garden Plains.
In 1906 he came to Oklahoma and filed on the land where he has since resided. He was well and favorably known throughout the country, leaving a number of relatives and a host of friends to mourn his loss. -contributed
