She was the first Secretary of the Edelweiss Club (Sister Lodge of the Sons of Herman).
A disastrous fire struck the family home in the Brunner Section of the Heights, neighbors were able to save only the family Bible and piano.
Annie died of pneumonia at age 46 on September 30, 1903.
