When she married Alexander Barttlingck January 31, 1876 several Jones signed the wedding certificate, John, Hannah and Will, probably relatives. Nothing else is known of her family.
She had six children, 2 died as infants. Pollie had golden hair that touched the floor. It took two people to put her hair up.
She died at age 31 at the family home on the corner of St. Charles and Prairie Streets in Houston on October 25, 1888 from malarial fever.
She was a devoted wife and mother with a heart full of charity and benevolence
