Mr. Dewey Price Aaron, 78, of Winston-Salem died Monday, March 20, 2006, at Forsyth Medical Center.
He was born March 4, 1928, in Forsyth County to Elmer and Edna Dorsett Aaron. Mr. Aaron was retired from Western Electric and was a longtime member of Olivet Moravian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Shields Aaron; a son, Stephen Eugene Aaron; and a brother, Russell Nigel Aaron.
Mr. Aaron is survived by his wife, Hilda Aaron; three sons, Gary Aaron and wife Sterling, Lloyd Aaron and Roger Aaron; a stepdaughter, Julia Harvey; a stepson, Edward Taylor; five grandchildren, Jeremy, Davis, Christopher, Stephen and Andrew Aaron; and two sisters, Ann Luper and Joan Shore.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at Olivet Moravian Church in Winston-Salem. Burial will follow in Olivet Moravian Church Graveyard. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today, March 22, at Vogler & Sons Funeral Home on Reynolda Road.
