Christine Kaye Aaseby, 36, of Davenport, passed away unexpectedly Saturday April 28, 2001 at Trinity Medical Center – North Campus, Davenport.
She was born in Moline, IL. May 23, 1964 and married Stephen Aaseby in East Moline, September 24, 1983.
Mrs. Aaseby had formerly been employed at Brown's Chicken in Moline and currently had been employed at Trinity Medical Center – West Campus in Rock Island, IL for the past 10 years in the Education Department dealing with policies and procedures.
She was a member of Risen Christ Lutheran Church and enjoyed softball, cooking, baking and crafts and was a dedicated Soccer Mom and dedicated mother who enjoyed watching her son's swimming meets at Davenport North High School.
Survivors include: her husband, Stephen; children, Joshua, Megan, Eric and Ryan, all at home; parents, Kathy & Duane Herron of Silvis, IL and Robert and Dixie Volk of Moline; sisters, Julie Cassatt of LeClaire, IA, Jennifer Herron of Oak Park, IL, Keri Herron of Normal, IL, Dixie Henschen of Moline and Tina Reynolds of Moline; brothers, Andy Volk of Moline and Dale Herron of Austin, TX; grandparents, Raymond and Dorothy Volk of Port Byron, IL and John T. Herron of Rock Island.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday at Risen Christ Lutheran Church in Davenport. Visitation will be 2-4 and 5-8 PM Tuesday at The Runge Mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to an educational fund for her family through Risen Christ Lutheran Church.
