Mr. Acheson was a truck driver for Russell Ready Mix for several years and was a heavy equipment operator for Russell County. He was a member of North American Hunting Club, the National Rifle Association and Wildlife Forever.
Survivors included his parents, Alvin and Norma Acheson; four brothers, Alvin Jr., Terry, Donald, and Danny.
