Minnie T. Johnson, 104, of Grand Forks, ND died Sunday, July 19, 2009 in her home.
Minnie Tolene Nelson was born May 27, 1905 in Mekinock, ND, the daughter of Severin and Barbo (Hensrud) Nelson. She grew up and attended school in Mekinock. She married Thelmer Johnson. Minnie served as a midwife throughout the area helping to deliver many babies. She enjoyed baking, especially lefse, bread and buns and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all.
