Mary E. Allen, 85, of Princeton, died Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at The Waters of Princeton. She was born Aug. 31, 1920 in Gibson County to John and Emma (Slaughterback) Elliott. Mary was a homemaker and had lived in Princeton for over 60 years.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ronald R. Allen of Texas and Stanley K. Allen, of Bradenton, Fla.; four grandchildren, Ronald R. Allen Jr., Ryan Allen, Lauren Allen and Brianne Allen; and two sisters, Gladys Johnson and Alice Evans, both of Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Allen on May 7, 2004, her parents, six brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2006 at the Colvin Funeral Home with Pastor George Prinzing officiating. Burial wil follow in the Columbia ‘White' Church Cemetery. Friends may call for visitation n from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2006 at the Colvin Funeral Home.
