WINNFIELD -- Services for Mildred Abel Martin will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Barry Hoekstra officiating. Burial will be in Winnfield City Cemetery under direction of Southern.
Mrs. Martin, 84, of Winnfield died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, in Arcadia Health Care center.
She was a native of Winnfield and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the United Methodist Women, a member of the choir, the Readers Review Club and a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Loyce H. "Peck" Martin of Winnfield; two sons, Perry Martin and Glen Kertz, both of Orange, Texas; one daughter, Mary Ann Oberg of Pearland, Texas; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Walker of Winnfield; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today and from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Methodist Children's Home in Ruston, La.
