George W. McCormick, 84 of Providence, died Wednesday, July 17 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
A native of Tennesee, he was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Providence.
Survivors include his wife, Metta McCormick, Providence; two daughters, Donna Bryant, Providence and Cornelia Burklow, Franklin; two sisters, Dorothy Abernathy of Hickman and Grace Argo of Franklin, Tennessee; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 1:00 from Townsend-Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Ramey and Rev. Chad Watson officiating.
Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery, Providence.
