George Clayton Abernathy
DUCKTOWN, Tenn., March 14 (Spl)--George Clayton Abernathy, 47 years old, mining captain for the Tennessee Copper company here, died at his home early yesterday morning. He had been ill one week with double pneumonia.
Surviving are his widow and seven children, two daughters being married. He leaves also his mother, four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held in the M. E. church here Thursday, conducted by Rev. Geo. Passmore. Interment follows in Zion Hill cemetery. (Obit provided by Cindy Womble Billman)
