Updated 10/18/17. PFC Winston N. "Red" Adams was a guard and died in a very tragic train accident in France. The train Red was on was hit from behind by another train resulting in multiple deaths. Red and his beloved wife Catherine had two children: Norman Lee Adams and James Leon Adams. Norman Adams resided in Laurens County, SC until his passing on June 18, 2017. Norman has one daughter and one grandson. Leon Adams resided in Simpsonville, SC until his passing on January 13, 2012. Leon has two sons, three grandsons, and two grand-daughters. Catherine passed away peacefully in her sleep in Greenville, SC on April 26, 2014, with Red's photo by her bedside. They will never be forgotten.
