Entered into rest Friday, May 26, 2006 at his residence, Mr. Billy Wayne Adair, age 49, son of Mrs. Willie Lou Collins Adair and the late Mr. James Harold Adair.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel, with Reverend Dr. Bobby Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Adams Chapel Cemetery, Harlem, Ga.

Mr. Adair was a native of Barnwell, South Carolina and had made the Augusta area his home for most of his life. He was a crane operator with Columbia Nitrogen and was a member of Silvercrest Baptist Church.

Additional survivors include one son, William (Will) Adair, Augusta; his mother of Augusta; one brother, James Jeffery Adair and his wife Vicky, Hephzibah; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jerry Leonard, Mike Stallings, Tim Crawley, Chris Johnson, Dicky Wiggins and Joey Henderson.

A visitation with the family will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel until time of service.
