'Bill' Ackerley
Dies July 18
Willard "Bill" Ackerley 53, of Osceola, died at the Veteran's Hospital in Des Moines Monday July 18, 1983. Services will be held Friday July 22 from the Kale Funeral Home in Osceola with the Rev. Clifford Haider officiating at the 11 am rites. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Osceola.
Willard Ackerley was born January 6. 1930 in Grand River Iowa, son of Eugene Ackerley and Velda Liles Ackerley. He attended schools in Decatur and Clarke counties. He was married to Viola Fry. His second marriage was to Marilyn Cecil and five children were born to this union.
He was formerly employed by Wright's Tree Service. He was a veteran of the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother, father and two sisters.
