Bedford Losier Jackson was md 1st to Gusta (Grider) Jackson, b. 15 May 1904 – d. 27 June 1929. Opal (Adams) Jackson, d/o James Wesley Adams & Millie Fisher.

COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Opal Lee Jackson, 82, of Cookeville, will be held at 2 p.m. on Sun., April 30, from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Sat., April 29, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jackson died on Thurs., April 27, 2000, at Masters Health Care Center.
She was born on June 14, 1917, in DeKalb County to the late James Wesley and Millie Fisher Adams. Mrs. Jackson was retired from Plateau Mental Health Care Center and worked as caretaker of Cookeville City Cemetery for 49 years. She was a member of Willow Avenue Church of Christ, Ladies VFW Auxiliary and American Legion. Mrs. Jackson was well known for her love of music and dancing. She won
the National WalkaThon in St. Louis, Mo. at the age of 70.
Her family includes a daughter, Pat Swift of Jackson County; two stepsons, Thurman Jackson of Waterford, Mich., and Bedford Jackson of Cookeville; six grandchildren and spouses, Richard and Vivian Swift, Ronnie Swift, Donna and Wayne Garrett, Gary Lynn Jackson, Phillip Dale Jackson and Brenda Gale Jackson; four special greatgrandchildren,
Travis and Patrick David Swift, and Amanda and Justin Jackson, plus three additional greatgrandchildren;
and a special greatgreatgranddaughter, Jasmine Brooke
Schneck.
