WILLIAMSBURG - Allen Lewis Adams, a Bedford native and a Williamsburg resident since 1930, died Tuesday, Sept. 7.
Mr. Adams retired in 1969 as a firefighter after 25 years at the Naval Weapons Station.
Survived by a daughter, Linda Adams Rice of Williamsburg; two sons, Allen Cheatham Adams of Toano and John Lewis of Williamsburg; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Bucktrout Funeral Home. Funeral 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home by the Rev. David Hileman. Burial in Williamsburg Memorial Park.
