Mrs. Alice Gray Warren Adams, 83, of 239 South Johnson Street, Newton Grove, NC. died Monday at her home.
Mrs. Adams is survived by seven daughters, Alice Gray of St. Leonard, MD; Evelyn Lewis of Goldsboro, NC; Linda Harris and Sylvia Adams both of Fayetteville, NC; Marilyn Adams of Newton Grove, NC; Karen Gilchrist of Raleigh, NC; Greta Harper of Severn, MD; six sons, Harvey Adams and Barry Adams both of Goldsboro, NC; Warren Adams of Bowie, MD; Lawrence Adams of Severn, Md; Bobby Adams of St Leonard, Md; and Ervin Adams of Oxion Hill, MD; two sisters, Annie Lou Fort of Ellerbe, Md; Josephine Wilson of Newton Grove, NC; a brother, Verdell Warren of Raleigh, NC; 26 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren.
The family recieved friends at the church one hour prior to services Friday, Novemeber 28, 2008.
The funeral services were held at 1pm, Friday, November 28, 2008 at White Oak Disciples of Christ Church, Newton Grove, NC. with the Bishop Charles J. Williams officiating.
Burial was made in Hillside Cemetery, Newton Grove, NC.
The family entrusted the care of Mrs. Adams to the Brock Memorial & Worley Funeral Home in Clinton, NC.
