Mr. Arbraugh was born in Monroe, LA and was the son of Samuel Abraugh and Dorothy Bamette Abraugh.
He retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief following 20 years of service, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a Baptist and a member of The Fleet Reserve Association, Branch 40.
Survived by his wife, Saadia Abraugh; daughter, Monica (David) Curtin; grandsons, James (Amy) Sawyer and Kenneth Curtin; and sisters, Pearl Maxey and Alma Armstrong.
A funeral service will be held March 16, 2004, in Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Hwy. Chapel by the Rev. Robert Hall. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.snellingsfuneralhome.com
