"William "Bill" Eaton, 78 passed away at 10:47 pm on July 6, 2010 at Meadows Manor East in Terre Haute.
He was born September 8, 1931 in Mansfield, IN to the late William and Virginia Kemper Eaton.
Bill was a 1949 graduate of Rosedale High School.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Mary Mae Purcell Eaton; his brother, Dr. Parker Eaton of Terre Haute; two sisters, Marjorie Abernathy and Audrey (Dennis) Abernathy both Rosedale; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a step-son, Gerald.
He served in the United States Navy for six years and retired after thirty years of employment with American Airlines.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday, July 8, at Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home, 287 Main Street, Rosedale. Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 10, at 11:00 AM in Vienna Cemetery in Vienna, Missouri."
