Mrs. Sue Carilon Carver Acorn, age 78 of Douglas, passed away Monday evening at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Acorn was born February 24, 1945 to the late Elmer Stanford Carver and the late Elizabeth Katie Hopkins Carver. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Jesse Joseph Acorn, Jr.; a granddaughter: Lacey Stewart and a grandson: Christopher Taylor.

Mrs. Acorn, was born in Douglas, GA. She was a former court recorder and a homemaker. She was a member of Evangel Tabernacle atWest Green, GA.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday afternoon, April 26, 2023 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home

The funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon, April 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home. The interment followed in Bethany Cemetery.

Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
