Clarice was born May 26, 1919, on the family farm near Glenburn, the daughter of Chris and Clara (Christianson) Olson. She was raised and educated at Glenburn and graduated from Glenburn High School in 1938.
Clarice was united in marriage to Lawrence Schimmelpfennig on Sept. 4, 1938, at rural Glenburn.
Her loving family includes: children, Connie (Roger) Backes, Minot, Larry (Ilene) Schimmelpfenning, rural Minot, and Clara Jeanne (Lee) Vigstol, rural Minot; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Carmen (Donna Mae) Olson, Minot; sons-in-law, Roger Dozark of Denison, Iowa, and Jim Kosse of Valley, Wash.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Clarice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughters, Darlene Dozark and Cynthia Kosse; sisters, Olga and Mabel; and brothers, Ray, Hank and Milton and infant siblings Gladys, Cora and Clarence.
Funeral service: Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, at 1 p.m. in Lynch Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Minot.
Interment: Lynch Immanuel Cemetery, rural Minot.
