Cordelia Ann McWhorter
Funeral service for Cordelia Ann McWhorter, 91, of Duncan, Oklahoma, former Chickasha resident, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, November 30, 2000, at the Northside Church of Christ, 8th and Frisco, Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Cordelia Ann McWhorter was born May 13, 1909, in Love County, Oklahoma, the daughter of William and Edna (Clements) Alexander, and died Monday, November 27, 2000, in Duncan, Oklahoma.
Mrs. McWhorter lived in Chickasha for over 50 years. She lived in Duncan the past 7 years.
She and Sidney Franklin McWhorter were married December 25, 1938, in Clinton, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death February 14, 1984.
Mrs. McWhorter was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was also preceded in death by: parents; infant daughter: Patricia Ann McWhorter; son-in-law: Harold Richardson.
Survivors include: 1 son: Ronald McWhorter and wife, Dixie, of Aurora, Colorado; 3 daughters: Sharon Thompson and husband, Max, of Duncan, Oklahoma, Marilyn Delk and husband, Earl, of Marlow, Oklahoma, Carolyn Richardson of Chickasha, Oklahoma; sister-in-law: Ruby Kleager of California; 19 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha.
