Mathilde Acaldo Scott died Sunday, February 28, 1988, at Earl K. Long Memorial Hospital. She was 76, a native of East Baton Rouge Parish and resident of Baton Rouge.

Survived by five daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Theriot and Mrs. Gracie Haggard, both of Walker, Mrs. Norma Buxton, Mrs. Rosemary Guidry and Mrs. Sharon Peck, all of Baton Rouge; four sons, Joseph, Gene, Ken and Jerry Scott, all of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Mrs. Natalie Day, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Julia Carreca and Mrs. Pearl Spedale, both of Sunshine; a brother, Joe Acaldo, Sunshine; 34 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by husband, Joseph C. Scott; two daughters and a son.
