Alton Clyde Adams, 88, of Patrick Springs, died Wednesday, October 11, 1995, at Stanleytown Health Care Center.
He was born in Patrick County and was the son of the late Richard Adams and the late Susie Shelton Adams. He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Surviving are his wife, Audrey Harris Adams of Stanleytown Health Care Center; two daughters, Beatrice Turner of Patrick Springs and Evelyn Smith of Bassett; two sons, Alton Carl Adams of Martinsville and Douglas Adams of Ridgeway; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at Pleasant View Baptist Church by the Rev. Wayne Hannah. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Arrangements were by Moody Funeral Home.
