MAGNOLIA ACKERMAN, ZULA MAE, 85, passed away, Sunday, January 4, 2009 at her residence. She attended Knoxes Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert F. Ackerman, and her parents, John Wood and Minnie Ethel Lewis Whitman. She is survived by a daughter, Peggy A. Poulter, of Crestwood, KY; a granddaughter, Jaime M. Hartfield (Jeff), of Charlestown, IN; a grandson, Shane Stone (Melanie), of Jeffersonville, IN; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with burial to follow in the Knoxes Creek Cemetery.
