Born in Dodson Feb.18, 1905, to Rosalie and Ben Stevens, she attended the Ursaline Academy in Great Falls and St. Peter's Nursing School in Helena.
She was married in Helena to Bob Thibaudeau in 1923. They had one daughter, Patricia Diane. He died in 1950. She then married Frank Abbey Sept. 19, 1951 in Townsend. The
couple has lived in Helena since their marriage.
Mrs. Abbey was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and St. Helena Cathedral Parish.
Survivors include her husband, Frank; a daughter, Mrs. D. Budd (Diane) Williams of Helena; a step-son, Daryl Abbey of San Jose, Calif.; two sisters, Julie Perkins of Los
Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Julie Perkins of Los Angeles, Calif., and Marie Armington of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Mrs. Jim (Kim) Andersen of Helena, Brett Williams of Billings and Lisa Williams, a student at Montana State University; two great-grandsons, Brian and Scott Andersen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Forestvale Cemetery.
