Hannah Mae Jernigan Bewley, 100, formerly of Perry, died Friday, January 28, 2011 at the Rolling Hills Health Center in Topeka. She was born September 10, 1910 at Osage City. She was a 1929 graduate of Osage City High School and attended the Emporia Teacher's College. She had taught school for three years in Osage and Lyon Counties. She formerly owned and operated the Perry Pub in Perry for a number of years. She was married to Clarence Isaacson and they later divorced. She was married to Joseph Raymond Bewley in April of 1959 in Arkansas, he preceded her in death on March 16, 2005. She is survived by two daughters, Virginia Yohe, Garland, TX., Lois Jean Brunton, Perry, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Private Services are planned.
