LOTTIE P. WHITED, 84, of Ebell community, died Nov. 18, 2009, at her residence.

The Blount native was a member of Rosa United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by husband Ward William Whited; son Rodney W. Whited; granddaughter Elizabeth A. Whited; parents Henry and Effie Ritchey Johnson; sisters Gertrude Pass and Evelyn Acker; brothers Harvey, Clifford, J.W., Elbert, and Raymond Johnson.

Surviving are sons Rex (Deanna) Whited of Oneonta and Wade (Melanie) Whited of Five Points; daughters Vickie (Ronald) Rutledge of Oneonta and Connie (David) Tucker of Cleveland; daughter-in-law Denise (Alvin) Turner of Oneonta; sister Ophia Sloan of Berry Mountain; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Jerry Gargus and Alvin Turner officiated services Nov. 20 at 11 a.m at Valley Chapel with interment at Dailey's Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kelvin Rutledge, Brad Rutledge, Timothy Tucker, Chuck Whited, Zac Whited, and Ramon Aguire.
