ARTHUR, Tenn., Sept. 11 -- Funeral services for Oliver Francis Adams, 65, who died Sept 9 at his home in Arthur, will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Gap Creek Baptist Church, Arthur. Burial will be in the Chumley Cemetery, near Arthur.
Mr. Adams was born in Tallidiger, Ala., and moved to Arthur, where he has lived for the past 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Millie Adams; sons, Cecil of New Jersey, Alphus of Detroit, Mich.; Elmer of Clairfield, Tenn., Eugene and Carl of Arthur and Lowell of Tipprell, Tenn.; Daughters, Mrs. Sallie Liverman of Plymoth, Mich., Mrs. Katherine Gibson of Arthur Tenn., and the Misses Glenda, Marguerite, Carrie and Elta, all of Arthur; 11 grandchildren; brothers John George, Louis and Tolliver; and sister, Mrs. Carrie Aldridge.
