Funeral services for Ella Mae "Tina" Mach, age 80, of Tekamah, formerly of Creighton, will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton.
Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Creighton.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton.
Ella Mae "Tina" (Wright) Mach was born on January 24, 1931, to Roy and Esther (Crandell) Wright in Jackson, Michigan. She attended Country School near Ewing, NE. She married Leonard J. Mach Sr. on December 17, 1948 at Center, NE. Three children were born to them; Judy, Leonard and Ronald.
After their marriage they moved to Creighton. Later she moved to Wasilla, Alaska to be with her youngest son. She then moved to Tekamah to be with her daughter. Tina then moved to Norfolk to be with her oldest son.
Tina was a member of the Mormon Church. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 1151 and the Women's Club.
She worked at Sonder's Variety Store in Creighton where she retired. She loved her dog, Bella. She loved her children and grandchildren very much. Tina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. She loved to cook and bake.
Tina died Friday, February 11, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Tekamah, NE at the age of 80.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Harris and friend, Tom Gammel of Tekamah; sons, Leonard Mach Jr. and wife Marilyn of Norfolk, Ronald Mach and his wife Sharon of Wasilla, Alaska; 12 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and sister, Laura (Mrs. Darrel) Abbett of Council Bluffs, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Mach Sr.; her parents; and son-in-law, Tom Harris.
